Veteran Services

Nevada Office of Veteran Services

Have you every served in any branch of the U.S. Military?

As a current or former member of the U.S. Military, we thank you for your service.  In Nevada, there are over 339,000 veterans and we are dedicated to helping them get the services, benefits and quality of life they deserve. The Nevada Office of Veterans Services has been serving veterans for over 65 years and focus on being advocates for veterans benefits.  Throughout the state of Nevada we offer a variety of services and benefits to honor Nevada's heroes.

To further our mission of connecting veterans with services, we launched the Green Zone Initiative in July 2013.  The Green Zone is a social network for Nevada's veterans to discover new information, start conversations and get connected.  The initiative focuses information and services in three areas including: Education, Health & Wellness, and Employment.  Get connected today!

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

As a former member of the military you may be entitled to numerous benefits through the Department of Veterans Affairs. The benefits available to veterans range from basic medical care to in-home services.  The VA also provides counseling services and respite services.  You can apply for benefits online or contact the Nevada Office of Veterans Services to learn more about what benefits are available.

My HealtheVet

Are you currently receiving medical benefits through the VA Medical Center?  Did you know you can access all of your records online?  The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs has launched My HealtheVet to help veterans access their medical records, add notes, and you can even add information from providers outside of the VA to help you manage all of your important medical information and make more informed healthcare decisions.
